Drinks with David | Hanford Communities: Empowering the Community’s Voice

=New Date and New Time=

Continued Hanford cleanup progress is critical to the Tri-City community, but it is an extremely complex and technically challenging effort. These challenges underscore the need to coordinate the efforts of local governments impacted by Hanford.

Hanford Communities provides a unified voice for these local governments to take the future of their communities into their own hands. Much like the diverse workforce that comprises the Hanford Site, Hanford Communities is overseen by leaders from each city and every corner of our local ecosystem. City council members, commissioners and municipal representatives all help to steer and direct the priorities that impact the lives of Tri-Citians in our Southeastern Washington community.

On THURSDAY at 10am, join David as he shares a drink with the two chairs of Hanford Communities – Richland City Councilmember Bob Thompson and West Richland Mayor Brent Gerry – and discuss the importance of the work that they are doing.

SPECIAL GUESTS:
Bob Thompson, Hanford Communities Governing Board Chair, City of Richland Councilmember
Brent Gerry, Hanford Communities Administrative Board Chair, City of West Richland Mayor

About Hanford Communities:
Formed in 1994, Hanford Communities is an intergovernmental cooperative organization of Benton and Franklin counties and the four cities that are home to nearly 100 percent of Hanford’s work force. Hanford Communities local outreach efforts range from education and industry partnerships to community event participation.
