Information on Building Design
Eligibility
Open to artists/artists teams residing in Benton and
Franklin counties, Washington. No judge or employee of TRIDEC, Tri-City Regional
Chamber of Commerce or the Tri-Cities Visitor & Convention Bureau is eligible to
participate.
Project Intent/Theme:
The committee will evaluate all submissions based on artistic merit, an artist’s
past experience, and the ability of the artist to work in large scale. The art
work should exemplify the history, geology, ecology, economy or uniqueness of
the Tri-Cities area, ranging from traditional representations of wildlife to
abstract works, there are no restrictions on artistic interpretation. A plaque
will be displayed somewhere on or near the art stating that it was created with
funds donated by Battelle.
